Course Description

Enjoy magnificent views of Mount Fuji from many holes

Hakone-en Golf Course is a scenic mountain course nestled in the natural beauty of Hakone Town, Kanagawa Prefecture. Situated on sloped terrain overlooking Lake Ashi with Mount Komagatake at its back, the course layout allows players to enjoy magnificent views of Mount Fuji from many holes.
Although located in a mountainous area, the course is laid out along the foothills, minimizing the sense of elevation changes. While not particularly long, the relatively narrow fairways demand accurate shots on each hole. Additionally, many greens are well-guarded by bunkers, requiring careful play.

Notable Holes

Hole 5: A long hole combining a downhill and valley-crossing layout, requiring strategic play.

Hole 7: Offers a breathtaking view with Mount Fuji directly ahead from the tee and Lake Ashi below.

Hole 8: A short hole over a valley, demanding precise shots.

Hole 17: Features a narrow fairway, emphasizing shot direction.

Hakone-en Golf Course combines natural beauty with a strategically designed course, offering an enjoyable golfing experience with views of Mount Fuji and Lake Ashi.
