Karuizawa 72 Golf South Course

 Karuizawa 72 Golf South Course is located approximately 7 minutes by car from the Karuizawa IC on the Joshinetsu Expressway, and approximately 8 minutes by taxi from Karuizawa Station on the Nagano Shinkansen Line.

Course: The 18-hole, par 72 course is 7,067 yards long. The course layout is beautiful, strategic, and challenging, with undulating fairways and lakes guarding the course in key locations. The par 5 holes in particular are key to scoring, especially the 4th hole: a 516yd par 5 with a large pond on the right side and OB on the left side. The 9th hole: 446yd par 5, short, but the direction and distance of the tee shot is the key.

Hole #11: A 486-yd par 5, also a short par 5, you will want to be bold enough to make a birdie.

The South Course is the most casual of the 72 courses, with a bath in the clubhouse but no restaurant, and is a through-play course where golf cars equipped with GPS navigation systems can be driven in.
