Course Description

A strategically designed course featuring a single bent grass green on each hole

Hanamatsuri Golf Club, located in a gentle mountain ridge setting between the Shiroishi Plain and Tenzan Mountains, opened on May 28, 1995. Designed by Kentaro Sato, it's an 18-hole, Par-72 hill course totaling 6,834 yards, with a mountain-like elevation and varied terrain .

The course features a single large bunker-contoured bent green (~800 m²) with subtle to bold undulations, requiring precise putting skills . Its diverse layout offers strategic play, with dedicated drive-and-approach challenges, flanked by recommended long-drive (holes 7 & 18) and nearest-pin (holes 5 & 13) opportunities .

Practice facilities include a 50–80 yd driving range (7–8 bays), plus full short-game practice.

A 5-seat GPS-equipped cart is available, with choice of caddie or self‑play; fairway cart entry is possible for a fee . The clubhouse features a restaurant, locker, bath area (with a shampoo bar in the women’s changing room), vending machines, and rental services .

With a course rating of 72.2, the course strikes a balance—primarily for casual rounds (85%), but it’s also suitable for competitions and corporate play .

Lunch menus feature seasonal dishes starting around ¥1,000, and the women’s lounge includes a shampoo bar offering 12 varieties
