A flat course where ponds and bunkers enhance its strategic depth.
Yashiro Country Club is located in Makino Azumadani, Kato-shi, Hyogo Prefecture. It was designed by Shunsuke Kato.
The Old Scottish course has a unique atmosphere that reminds golfers of the origins of the game. The course is flat with few elevation differences, and the unique beauty of the scenery, which is
created by the aspect of trees, and the highly strategic nature of water hazards and grass bunkers, which skillfully utilize natural lakes, create a golf stage of water, greenery, and
intelligence. The four-story clubhouse, reminiscent of an old European-style castle, is calm and relaxing with a sense of tradition from the good old days.
Two standout holes are the signature 8th hole, a picturesque short hole requiring a shot over a pond, and the 14th hole with its impressive floating island—a highlight of the course. Narrow fairways demand precise shots, adding to its difficulty.
The clubhouse is luxurious and clean, and the course is highly strategic and requires good course management. The club also has a 4th floor restaurant with a very popular lunch menu and a view of the course.
