JGTO & LPGA Certified — Home of the Men’s Tour Season Opener
Token Tado Country Club Nagoya is a prestigious tournament course certified by both the JGTO (Japan Golf Tour Organization) and LPGA (Ladies Professional Golfers' Association). It hosts the season-opening event of the Japan Golf Tour, the Token Homemate Cup, every April.
Located in Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture, near the borders of Aichi and Gifu, the club is just about 40 minutes by car from central Nagoya, making it highly accessible. The course is nestled in the scenic southern foothills of the Yoro Mountains.
This 7,200-yard, 18-hole hilly course is known for its strategic layout, with subtle elevation changes (only 35 meters overall) and short intervals between holes. Players must adapt their strategy depending on pin positions, making it a mentally engaging course even for tour professionals. Beautifully arranged flower beds throughout the course create the feeling of playing in a grand garden.
The club also features the Hotel Tado Onsen, offering guests a relaxing stay with access to natural hot springs sourced from 1,728 meters underground. After your round, unwind in the indoor baths, open-air baths, or even enjoy the footbath, hand bath, and drinkable spring water near the clubhouse.
For those staying overnight, the club offers a special perk: a complimentary early morning or twilight half-round in addition to your main round.
Two driving ranges (250 and 280 yards) are available, allowing players to warm up thoroughly before heading out.
