Course Description

An Elegant Retreat in the Hills of Takarazuka, Hyogo

Nestled in the scenic highlands of Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture, the Taiheiyo Club Takarazuka Course is a refined hill-style golf course that offers a truly elevated golfing experience.

One of the course’s signature features is its sepia-toned clubhouse, exuding timeless elegance and harmony with the surrounding landscape. The clubhouse restaurant provides breathtaking panoramic views of the picturesque mountains of the Hokusetu region, allowing guests to savor the beauty of each season while enjoying a relaxing meal.

Spread across gently rolling highlands, the course offers a refreshing round of golf with a pleasant breeze and a liberating sense of openness. Designed by the renowned architect Fukuichi Kato, the course opened on September 12, 2001, and is known for its strategic layout and natural topography. Each of the 18 holes is thoughtfully crafted to blend seamlessly with the terrain, offering a variety of challenges and scenic vistas.

The starting holes—No. 1 and No. 10—feature gentle downhill shots, setting the tone for a dynamic round. Highlights include the picturesque par-3 3rd and 17th holes, as well as the dramatic par-5 15th, all of which incorporate water features and mountain backdrops to create a visually stunning and strategically engaging experience. The 2nd hole, with its grass bunkers, the bunker-guarded green on the 10th, and the majestic 12th hole are also particularly memorable.

Among the most iconic holes are the 9th and 17th. The par-4 9th is a sharp dogleg right with a downhill tee shot from the course’s highest point, demanding careful consideration of wind direction. The par-3 17th features a challenging carry over a large pond, where gauging the wind and terrain is key to success. If you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the charming line of ducks that frequent the course—an unexpected delight for many players.

All rounds are supported by state-of-the-art GPS-equipped carts, which include a real-time competition leaderboard system, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for both casual and competitive golfers.
