Sunpark Sapporo Golf Course

Featuring 27 holes designed around a “Wide & Panorama” concept, the course offers a strategic golfing experience through the clever placement of numerous ponds and creeks, despite having only 4–5 meters of elevation change across the entire property. Each hole is separated by mounds, creating both a spacious atmosphere and comfortable spacing between fairways.

Set across the vast Ishikari Plain, Sunpark Sapporo Golf Course showcases the expansive scenery and natural beauty unique to Hokkaido. As a casual public golf course, it is especially popular among female golfers.

The course layout and playing environment are as follows:

East Course

• Appears straightforward at first glance, but ponds, creeks, and trees add considerable strategic challenge.
• The signature opening hole is particularly memorable, with water hazards and trees lining both sides of the fairway, combining scenic beauty with a high degree of difficulty.

West Course

• A longer and more demanding layout that favors players with greater driving distance.
• The 6th hole is a notably long par 4, and when played into a headwind, it becomes an exceptionally tough challenge rarely found on a public course.

South Course

• Five of its nine holes feature water hazards, making course management and shot accuracy essential.
• A strategic layout that rewards thoughtful play and precise execution.

The course is fully self-play with riding carts, and carts are generally permitted to enter the fairways, providing a comfortable and convenient playing experience. However, fairway access may be restricted depending on weather and course conditions.

Dining at Sun Park Sapporo Golf Course offers a casual and satisfying “golf course meal” experience with a Hokkaido touch.

The clubhouse restaurant serves a variety of hearty dishes such as curry, ramen, set meals, and local specialties like Genghis Khan (grilled lamb). The menu is designed to be simple, filling, and suitable for golfers during their round.
