Yunoura Country Club

Yunoura Country Club is beautifully set on scenic rolling hills overlooking the deep blue East China Sea, with the graceful silhouette of Mt. Kinpo rising in the background. The Mediterranean-style clubhouse is surrounded by nearly 700 tropical trees, including Washingtonia palms, Phoenix palms, and cycads, creating the atmosphere of a relaxing southern resort.

Designed on a grand scale, the 18-hole hill course features long playing distances, wide fairways, and one of the first bentgrass single greens introduced in Kagoshima Prefecture. Seven holes are highlighted by large lakes, while subtle undulations throughout the course demand precise shot-making and thoughtful course management, offering an exciting blend of playability and strategy.

Among the most memorable holes, the par-3 17th features one of the course's largest water carries. Framed by a beautiful lake and swaying palm trees, it perfectly captures the club's tropical resort atmosphere while demanding precise distance control from the tee. The par-5 18th provides a dramatic finishing hole played toward the clubhouse. With its wide fairway, strategically placed water hazards, and designation as the club's Longest Drive hole, it offers an exciting conclusion to the round.

The clubhouse restaurant serves a selection of Japanese and Western cuisine, featuring seasonal local ingredients in a comfortable setting overlooking the beautifully landscaped course.
