Perched at an elevation of approximately 625 meters within the grounds of The Windsor Hotel Toya Resort & Spa, Windsor Great Peak of Toya is a spectacular 18-hole mountain course offering breathtaking panoramic views of Uchiura Bay, Lake Toya, Mount Yotei, Mount Komagatake, and Showa-Shinzan. Known as the "Golf Course in the Sky," the course combines dramatic scenery with a challenging layout that makes full use of the mountain's natural elevation changes.

Designed by renowned professional golfer Chin Shimizu, the course features rolling fairways, bold undulations, and strategically positioned bunkers that reward thoughtful course management. The fairways are planted with a premium blend of three cool-season grasses—Kentucky bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, and tall fescue—while the greens are finished with Seaside bentgrass, ensuring excellent playing conditions and a beautifully maintained surface throughout the golf season. The changing mountain terrain and coastal winds add another layer of challenge, making every round both exciting and memorable.
