Enjoy 27 distinctive holes across the unique Hinoki, Sugi, and Matsu courses.
Daihakata Country Club is a scenic 27-hole hill course located in Nakagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, approximately 40 minutes from central Fukuoka. Designed by Keiji Matsuyama, the course is divided into three distinctive nine-hole layouts—Hinoki, Sugi, and Matsu—each offering its own unique character and strategic challenges. Making full use of the area's natural rolling terrain, the layout features gentle elevation changes, tree-lined fairways, doglegs, well-positioned bunkers, and water hazards that require thoughtful shot selection. With a balanced design that combines playability and strategy, the course provides an enjoyable and rewarding experience for golfers of every skill level while showcasing the beauty of the surrounding landscape throughout the year.
One of the most memorable holes is the par-3 8th hole on the Hinoki Course, where a precise tee shot must carry over a pond to reach a well-protected green. It is a visually striking hole that demands both confidence and accuracy. Throughout the three courses, golfers will also encounter a variety of challenging finishing holes featuring strategic bunkering, natural elevation changes, and risk-and-reward opportunities that make every round both exciting and rewarding.
After a round of golf, guests can relax at the clubhouse restaurant, which offers a comfortable atmosphere overlooking the course. The menu features a wide selection of Japanese and Western cuisine prepared with fresh seasonal ingredients, along with regional specialties from Fukuoka. Whether enjoying a hearty lunch between rounds or a relaxing meal after the game, golfers can savor delicious cuisine while taking in the tranquil views of the surrounding greenery.
