Tradition, the iconic "Sky House," and 27 strategic holes.
Ibaraki Kokusai Golf Club is a prestigious 27-hole championship course located in Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture. Opened in 1960, the course was designed by two renowned Japanese golf course architects—Giichi Sato, who designed the East and West Courses, and Osamu Ueda, who designed the North Course. Conveniently located just 30 minutes from central Osaka and approximately 20 minutes from Osaka International (Itami) Airport, it offers excellent accessibility while providing a tranquil natural setting.
The club features three distinctive nine-hole courses, each with its own character. The East Course is a classic tree-lined layout that emphasizes precision and shot-making. The West Course is relatively flat with generous fairways but demands strategic course management through well-positioned hazards. The North Course is the longest of the three, featuring expansive fairways, natural undulations, and elevated holes with panoramic views of the Osaka Plain. Throughout the property, golfers are challenged by subtly contoured greens and thoughtfully designed approaches that reward accuracy and careful club selection.
Recognized as one of the leading tournament venues in the Kansai region, the club hosted the LPGA T-Point Ladies Golf Tournament in 2018 and the T-Point × ENEOS Golf Tournament in 2019. Following a comprehensive renovation of all 27 holes and the opening of a modern clubhouse in 2016, the club has further enhanced its reputation as a premier golfing destination. After the round, golfers can enjoy a variety of Japanese and Western dishes, including seasonal specialties and regional flavors, while taking in sweeping panoramic views of the Osaka Plain from the clubhouse restaurant and terrace, making for a relaxing finish to the day.
Blending tradition, strategic course design, modern facilities, and exceptional hospitality, Ibaraki Kokusai Golf Club stands as one of the premier golfing destinations in the Kansai region.
