Zuien Country Club, Century Fuji Course

Zuien Country Club, Century Fuji Course is an 18-hole mountain course located in Minobu Town, Minamikoma District, Yamanashi Prefecture, offering magnificent views of Mount Fuji and the surrounding natural landscape. Designed by Mr. Lee Boon Hong, the course makes excellent use of the mountainous terrain to create a layout that is both enjoyable and strategically rewarding. The front nine features relatively wide fairways and shorter par-4 holes, allowing golfers to hit their tee shots with confidence. However, mounds and natural undulations in the fairways make approach shots more demanding, requiring careful club selection and course management.

In contrast, the back nine is longer and more challenging, with narrower fairways that place a greater emphasis on accuracy than distance. The signature finishing 18th hole features a pond guarding the left side of the fairway and extending toward the green, demanding both a precise second shot and excellent distance control on the approach. Throughout the round, golfers are treated to spectacular views of Mount Fuji, creating an unforgettable golfing experience in every season. The course has also hosted the Yamanashi Chuo Bank Ladies Open on the JLPGA Step Up Tour, further demonstrating its quality and championship appeal.
